Fentro CIC is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and through direct contact with Fentro. Information we may collect

• Your name, email address, telephone number, organisation and role.
• Information you provide when making an enquiry, registering interest, discussing a referral, offering an opportunity, funding or partnering with Fentro.
• Communication records and reasonable notes needed to respond or plan appropriate next steps.
• Technical information about use of this website, such as device, browser, pages visited and approximate location, where analytics consent and settings permit.

Please do not send medical records, detailed safeguarding information or a young person’s full personal history through a general website enquiry or ordinary email. We will arrange a suitable, secure follow-up route when sensitive information is genuinely required.

Why we use information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, manage expressions of interest, develop referral and delivery partnerships, plan the October 2026 pilot, communicate with funders and employers, operate and improve the website, meet legal and safeguarding responsibilities, and send optional updates where consent has been given.

Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis will be consent, taking steps at your request, legitimate interests in developing and operating Fentro responsibly, compliance with a legal obligation, or protection of someone’s vital interests.

Young people’s information

Fentro is designed to work with young people aged 16 to 24. We collect only the information needed for the relevant purpose and explain how it will be used. Where another person contacts us about a young person, they must have permission or an appropriate professional basis for doing so. Safeguarding duties may require us to act or share information without consent where someone may be at risk.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We may use trusted providers for website hosting, email, analytics, contact management and secure administration. We may also share relevant information with delivery partners, professional advisers, funders or statutory and safeguarding bodies where this is necessary, proportionate and lawful.

Donations made through Crowdfunder are processed under Crowdfunder’s own privacy information. Links to other websites are governed by those organisations’ policies.

International processing

Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we require an appropriate legal safeguard through the provider’s terms and data protection arrangements.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed. General enquiries and expressions of interest are reviewed regularly and normally removed when they are no longer relevant. Partnership, funding, financial, contractual or safeguarding records may need to be retained longer to meet legal, accountability and protection requirements.
