What is Fentro CIC?
Fentro is a Welsh social enterprise developing interest-led youth employability and re-engagement support for young people aged 16 to 24.
Where will Fentro work?
The first pilot is planned for Rhondda Cynon Taf, including communities across the Rhondda, Cynon and Taff valleys. Longer term, the ambition is to work with partners across South East Wales and the wider Welsh Valleys.
Who is Fentro for?
The initial focus is young people who are not in education, employment or training, known in policy as NEET, and those at risk of disengaging.
Is the programme running now?
Fentro’s first pilot is scheduled to commence in October 2026. Referral contacts and expressions of interest are open now while delivery partnerships are finalised.
